Colorado National Monument- Fruita, CO

This evening we took a ride through the Colorado National Monument. The road through the Monument is about 23 miles long and there are beautiful views throughout the entire trip. These are some of the photos I took along the way.

Every year on the 4th of July, a small group of people climb to the top of Independence Monument and raise an American flag.  You can see a picture and get more information on the flag raising here.


A look over the edge, the small brown line in the center is a trail.
